Dear Mr. and Mrs. Morgenstern
It has been some time since I last
saw or spoke with Nancy but I was able to keep up with her life
through family and friends.
Nancy was a very special
person. She taught me so many important things—to take risks and enjoy
life. Nancy was able to achieve all these things while sticking to her principles
and demonstrating a true goodness and love of her family and friends. We all
know Nancy was fun to be with, but it is her goodness and openness that drew
people to her. I knew the first time I met her—over fifteen years ago—this
was someone I wanted as a friend. It is a privilege to count Nancy among my
dear friends.
Nancy, I smile thinking of the wonderful
memories of our friendship. You were an important part of so
many key points in my life—our year in Israel,
planning trips together, my first time skiing, the day I got engaged—the
list goes on and on. I am a better person for having you as a friend and there
will always be a special place for you in my heart.
