I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE of serving as Nancy’s first coach. Nancy was spirited, eager, disciplined and resolute. Always interested in one more helpful hint to get to the next level, she transformed herself from a non-athlete to a highly competitive bike racer. This did not come without trial and tribulation. However, through her steadfast determination, she was able to overcome all the obstacles. She became a trusted friend and was simply a joy to coach.
